41. MURDERED - Breck Bednar, When Online Friendship, Turns To Murder

Todays case takes place on February 16, 2014, when 14-year-old Breck Bednar left his home for the last time. He was on his way to the home of 18-year-old Lewis Dayne after they had struck up a friendship whilst playing computer games online. The following morning Essex police receive a disturbing 999 call that kick starts a police investigation.
